Once the Necromorphs entered the station, Daina congratulated Norton for kickstarting the outbreak. Needing to sabotage EarthGov's sector to commence the outbreak, Daina worked with fellow Unitologist Tyler Radikov in manipulating Karrie "Vandal" Norton to achieve their goals. Daina decided to release Clarke from EarthGov so the Unitologits could spread the Marker's signal but would have to cause an outbreak to do so. The Unitologists would learn that a team of scientists were creating a Marker on the Sprawl by using patients Isaac Clarke and Nolan Stross, with the two having specific codes embedded within their minds from an encounter with a Marker. Not much is known of Daina Le Guin's past, but she would become a member of the Church of Unitology, who believed in spreading the Markers and starting the Convergence.
